Photos of Our Work

During the winter months, we know how important it is to get your blankets cleaned, repaired and back to you as quickly as possible.  Our turn around time during the cold months can be as little as a couple of days, if circumstances require it.  We will do everything within our power to accommodate your needs.  Ask us about free loaner blankets while yours are being serviced!!
At the customer's request, we replaced the standard buckle and strap front closures with a Rambo brand style front closure, with snaps, ring and Velcro. Voila!! What an improvement in both form and function!!
A frantic customer brought us this blanket on Monday afternoon, February 9, 2015 at 2 pm, wanting it cleaned, waterproofed and repaired ASAP. It was in the washer by 2:15 pm.
Here is the blanket, washed, waterproofed and repaired, the next day- Tuesday, February 10th. Even through an ice storm it was done by 9am, customer picked it back up on her lunch break at noon! Less than 24 hr turn-around time!
The tear had gone through to the liner, and that hole was sewn with a patch, too. Same blanket that was completed in less than 24 hrs!
A 15 yo Rambo needing a new chest closure. The customer wanted the newer style closure....
... and here is the same Rambo turnout with its' new front closure!
A plethora of purple blankets came into the shop, all owned by a client who obviously has a penchant for the hue. (These are a dark purple, but camera didn't get it). This photo shows a before tear to the shoulder vent, and a3 tears to the outter fabric of one of the blankets.
Here are the completed repairs, with an almost identical color match.
A different purple blanket- this one had a large rip above the top buckle strap, through to the liner, and the liner was in shreds underneath. In order to make the repair, the buckle and strap had to be removed first. Here is the completed repair to the outter fabric...
...and here is the repair to the lining.
this pony blanket had a Velcro-only front closure, which wasn't keeping the pony in the blanket!
the owner requested that a front closure system be added to supplement the Velcro. The pony won't get this blanket off anymore!
This is an Arab mare swimming in her fly sheet before we altered it
The owner wanted the tail flap made much smaller, too, since the mare kept pooping all over it.
Here is the fly sheet, altered to make the chest area and the tail flap smaller. Large tears were repaired with excess fabric, so they are indecernible.
The much shorter tail flap, with the original binding re-used.
A Smart Pak heavy turnout with a Rambo -style front conversion - perfect color matching!
A Weathabeeta heavy turnout with the same Rambo- style front closure conversion but using super heavy duty front clips
And another blanket- not made by Horseware- with the same heavy duty front closure conversion.
This pony blanket had a large tear to the outter fabric - can you find the "splatter" repair?!
This Weathabeeta sheet was missing ALL of the edging (binding) around the entire perimeter of the blanket. Otherwise, it was in like new condition- (HOW on earth??!). The cost of the repair : $35.
A customers favorite blanket, with torn lining.
Customers favorite blanket, all tears repaired, including outter tears ( not shown) for under $40.
This 30 yo pony's blanket was WAY too big around the front chest and neck, posing a serious safety hazard. We did this alteration - using adjustable Velcro tabs on each side of the neck- since the blanket was shipped to us without any definitive measurements.
More unsolicited photos taken by the happy owner after she received it back in the mail from us , with the alterations complete. SUCCESS - warm, comfy pony!
Here's a very dirty PURPLE PLAID blanket, before washing
...and here it is, after only one wash in our industrial machine custom -programmed for washing horse blankets:
We changed this surcingle buckle style front closure of this new Amigo turnout....
...to a Rambo -style closure system. An inexpensive way to upgrade anjy brand blanket!

we try to color match, whenever possible when repairing tears. Blues and reds are especially difficult to match , but we nailed it!
Red- another color with infinite shades, making matching a challenge. How did we do ?!
The purple Rambo extended neck blanket is about to be converted to the regular neck ( like the green one)
here I s the altered neck, with the metal loops added to accommodate a Rambo neck cover
Here is a blue Schneiders high neck about to be converted to a V-free standard neck, to match the neckline of the brown one
